Molecular Mutagenesis platforms
The Molecular Mutagenesis platforms consist of targeted mutagenesis (KeyBase) and EMS mediated random mutagenesis (KeyPoint) approaches. The screening of EMS mutant populations can be performed either directly in the M1 population (Targeted Mutation Breeding - TMB) or in M2 plants. In both cases screening is based on smart ways to rapidly select desired mutations and out-cross background mutations.
